Update

Pat has been found.  He was found last night.  He is currently at a hospital that none of us know just yet.  We believe he is under lock-down.  I tried calling his phone today, and it is turned off from MetroPCS which tells us he did not pay his bill.  Pat will be moving up here once he is released from the hospital.  Next weekend I will be going down to Waco, unless Pat is released and they are moving him here.  I can’t wait till he is moving here.  I am hoping that we can get his phone turned back on by next weekend.  I will pay it myself if I can.

I know it’s been awhile sense I last

I know it’s been awhile sense I last posted something but I’ve had a lot going on, and just forgot to get on here.  (What’s new, right?)

Pat is missing yet again.  I have yet to hear from the detective.  Last time they called me just about right away.  I’m hoping they will call soon.

The nerve of someone

I was talking to my neighbor telling her that I needed to go get some quarters so I can do laundry.  She told me to let her have some of my quarters so she can do laundry.  I told her no because I have to stress over the money for me to do laundry.  She told me that she would give me the money for the quarters.  Does she not understand what no means?  I told her no again.  It takes a lot for me to go get quarters as it is.  We (this neighbor and I) have talked about this before with someone else, and she told me that she didn’t blame me for not wanting to give anyone my laundry money if it stresses me out, and now she is acting like its ok for me to give her my quarters for her to do laundry.  I know she knows I have to do my laundry here at the apartment complex sense I have no way of going to the laundromat down the street from my apartment complex.  I refuse to give her any of my quarters when it cost so much for me to do laundry here.

How I personally feel about Obama

I have been talking about Obama in pictures and in texts either here or on Facebook or both.  I want everyone to know that I personally have nothing against Obama.  He probably is a good guy in his own way, but I just don’t like his policies.  They are horrible and is dangerous to us Americans.

Do Not Worry

This was a sermon that I listened to when I was in Waco dealing with Pat’s disappearance and his hospitalization.  This was exactly what his sister and I needed to hear, and thought once I had the chance to share it, I should with you guys.

You will need to look at Matthew 6:25-33 and Philippians 4:6-7.

First thing:

Definition of worry/anxiety:  Useless concern about tomorrow to the point it spoils today.

Worry is just another word for fear.

Worry, Anxiety, Fear:  God’s Cure – Choose to trust or worry.

1.  Refuse worry (“Be anxious for nothing”)

To stop worrying or to stop fear, you’ve got to replace that with something:

a.  Focus on God’s Promises about peace.  (John 14:27, 1 Peter 5:7)

b.  Live in the present.

Regret and guilt happen when we obsess with the past.  Worry happens when we obsess with the future.  Let God control tomorrow.

2.  Assess the need (“let your requests”)

Take a step back, breathe, ask God for perspective, and analyze the need with your mind not with your emotions.

3.  Thank God (“with thanksgiving”)

for past provisions; for present promises

4.  Pray (“in everything by prayer and supplication”)  Comming to God with great humility.

5.  Believe the promise (“And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will…”)  God’s promise to take care of us in sure.

George Muller:  “The beginning of anxiety is the end of faith, and the beginning of true faith is the end of anxiety.”

Worry and faith can’t coexist!

Sometimes God allows us to go through a storm so a world can see how a believer lives.

Dr Stanley Jones, in his book Transformed by Thorns, says:  “Fear is not my native land; faith is.  I am so made that worry and anxiety are sand in the machinery of life; faith is the oil.  In anxiety and worry, my being is gasping for breath – these are not my native air.  But in faith and confidence, I breathe freely – these are my native air.  We are inwardly constructed for faith and not for fear.  God made us that way.  To live by worry is to live against reality.”

Liberals

For all the liberals that would love see Rush Limbaugh leave this country because of what he said, when you really think about things.  I mean SERIOUSLY think about things it is you guys that are destroying the country that I love.  I as well agree with Rush.  I am ashamed as well as for how this country has turned into and the direction it is turning into.  So if anyone should leave this country truth be told it should be all the liberals.

Yesterday

Yesterday morning I wanted to place a complaint against Access 2 Care.  Access 2 Care is the transportation that Amerivantage provides for the customers.  This was my second complaint that I placed against Access 2 Care.  I really do not like how their work ethics are.

The other day I and my daughter had a doctors appointment at the same location, and so we went together there via Access 2 Care.  When I schedule an appointment they tell us to be ready an hour before the appointment.  We were ready.  15 minutes after the time we were supposed to be ready our driver wasn’t there, so I started to call Access 2 Care to see where the driver was.  The driver called right then and told me that he would be there at a certain time and we would be late.  I told him that that was unacceptable because I would be late for the appointment.

I immediately hung up with the driver and called Access 2 Care and started griping about this.  The dispatcher that I spoke to contacted the Driver, and he told them that due to the weather and traffic he was going to be late.  The problem with that is…  it wasn’t even raining at the time and the traffic was light at the time.  So obviously the driver lied to the dispatcher.  She told me that I really didn’t have a gripe because of what the driver said.  Um yes, I do.  He flat out lied to try to cover up whatever was really taking place.  The way I was treated from her, I got more upset and demanded to talk to a supervisor.  The supervisor made things worst with me.

So yesterday, I called Amerigroup to place a complaint.  The first lady didn’t even try to get my information to pull up my account.  She then told me that they do not have Access 2 Care for the transportation.  I then proceeded to tell her that they do, and that they could take my complaint.  (What I did not know at the time was that I was talking to someone from the Medicaid Department.)  So I demanded to talk to her supervisor.  Instead I got a senior representative.  Apparently this representative told the other representative that she HAS to get information first in order to know exactly what I was talking about.  So when I spoke to the senior representative she told me I needed to talk to the Medicare Department and she was going to transfer me over there.  Well instead she transferred me to someone in the Medicaid Department.  I was bounced around to someone in the Medicaid Department before someone finally transferred me to someone in the Medicare Department.  However, the person didn’t transfer me to the right part.  I was transferred to someone who qualifies people so they had to transfer me to someone in the member service.

I then proceeded to place the complaint.  By this time I was hot under the collar.  I was ready to find another insurance that would cover my Medicaid part as well.  So after I placed my complaint against Access 2 Care, I asked the lady if she knew or could direct me in the path to change my Medicaid insurance, and she said no, but would have to talk to the Medicaid Department and she would transfer me.

So when she did that I got the number I needed to do so.  When they asked me why I wanted to change I told them that I did not deserve to be called ignorant (which I was).  She then said “I’m sorry for your inconvenience.”  I’m sorry did you just say that being disrespected was an inconvenience?  (Yes she did.)  She said no that’s not what she said.  Um actually yes it was.  I asked her how was being disrespected an inconvenience?  She couldn’t understand why I was pissed with the way I was treated and her response.  She clearly didn’t listen to me nor did she care.  So I hung up, and dialed the number for me to change my insurance.

In between 15-45 days I will have Healthsprings instead of Amerigroup for my Medicaid.

Tim Tebow

Unfortunately Tim Tebow has canceled his visit to First Baptist Church in Dallas.  We really don’t know why he canceled, but what is being said is about what the Pastor talks about against homosexuality and other topics.  The other topics I’m not so sure about.  I have heard that the Pastor says that unless you believe the way they do, you won’t go to Heaven.  Sounds familiar?  It should because that’s exactly what the Adventist’s teaches.  That kind of teaching is unBiblical in itself.  Speaking against Homosexuality is Biblical and I applaud those who do speak against it!

Adolphus Hotel

We are considering going to Adolphus Hotel to stay the night for our wedding night.  Not sure where we will eat though for that night, but I do want it to be something nice.
